Resource Efficiency in the Headlights

Evonik’s Automotive Industry Team exhibited its automotive applications and technologies at the SAE World Congress in Detroit. The theme of the world known conference and exhibition, which took place from April 16 – 18,, was “Achieving Efficiency”. It brought together engineers, high level decision makers and the automotive press from all over the world. The currently surging automotive industry in the US provided a charged atmosphere for the three-day event. Automotive manufacturers and suppliers like Evonik presented their latest technologies and innovations for the automotive industry at the “Innovators Only” exhibition. Technical presentations and key note speeches offered the latest technology trends. 

The Automotive Industry Team showcased its newest technologies and products aimed at achieving fuel savings and emission reduction. The displays of lightweight samples, low viscosity oils, lighting technologies and scratch-resistant surfaces as well as a LOTUS Elise stimulated many questions and engaging discussions.

Evonik/RED Motorsport at DMV Touring Car Championship 2012

Evonik at the CAR Symposium 2012

From February 8th to 9th the Automotive Industry Team of Evonik took part at the CAR Symposium in Bochum, presenting their new Electric Lotus Elise demonstration car with light bodywork full of innovative Evonik Technologies.  Read more: Lotus Elise-E of Evonik
